PROMAINT MAGAZINE 2011 Promaint Magazine is the biggest and the most influential professional journal in the field of maintenance in Finland. According to the Reader Survey  88 %*) of the readers are independent decision makers or are participating decision making related to the purchases of spare parts, supplies, machinery, equipment and maintenance services. The Magazine is professional and independent messenger of research, development and trends in maintenance. The target of Promaint Magazine is to share the best practises in developing the asset and life cycle management strategies in Finnish industry and in public sector. The themes of the Magazine include recent trends in operations, maintenance, condition monitoring, automation, surface treatment, industrial services, municipal technologies etc. The magazine comes out eight times a year. It has been estimated that the industry in Finland invests annually 4 Billion Euros and public sector 14 Billion Euros in maintenance. In industry the investment in maintenance is between 2 to 14 % of the turnover of the companies depending on the industrial branch. The labour force in maintenance in Finland consists of over 200.000 people. Recently both in industry and in public sector the trend has been to focus in core businesses. This has lead to the organisational changes and to the increase in demand for maintenance services. Promaint Magazine is an excellent information channel both for users and suppliers of maintenance services. The Magazine is available by annual subscription or as a member subscription for the members of Finnish Maintenance Society and several technical socities. The Magazine will also be available for the visitors of named exhibitions and in training events. The print run of the Magazine is in average 6000 copies.
